Synopsis:
California Senate Bill 4 mandates groundwater monitoring in areas of oil and gas well stimulation. This guidance document details the most common Multilevel Systems used for such monitoring at both the area-specific and regional groundwater levels. It was co-authored by Haley & Aldrich’s Murray Einarson and is included as an appendix to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s expert report, “Overview of depth-discrete multilevel groundwater monitoring technologies: focus on groundwater monitoring in areas of oil and gas well stimulation on California.”
