Haley & Aldrich’s coal combustion residuals team to provide leadership at upcoming World of Coal Ash Conference

Boston, MA (April 27, 2015) -- Haley & Aldrich’s coal combustion residuals (CCR) team will present, moderate and teach nearly 20 sessions and short courses at the World of Coal Ash Conference, May 4-7 in Nashville, Tenn. The conference, organized by the American Coal Ash Association (ACAA) and the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research (CAER), is focused on the science, application and sustainability of coal ash worldwide.

Haley & Aldrich partners with the power industry to help manage risk, minimize environmental liabilities, and navigate the complex regulatory landscape for CCR, including by providing ongoing leadership and technical guidance to ACAA members. Steven Putrich, Senior Vice President, Engineering and GeoEnvironmental Projects, and Ishwar Murarka, Principal Consultant & Environmental Management Specialist, frequently present and are technical contributors at ACAA meetings and events.
The 2015 World of Coal Ash Conference presentation topics will include the utilization of coal ash and flue gas desulfurization materials, sustainable projects using CCPs, emerging technologies, general ash management (including disposal), mercury-related topics, recent research and case studies, as well as regulatory topics from the local, state and federal perspectives.
