Haley & Aldrich diversifies, continues to grow Operations Risk & Compliance practice with four new senior hires

Boston, MA (July 21, 2015) -- Haley & Aldrich announced today the diversification and continued growth of its Operations Risk & Compliance Practice with the addition of four new seasoned practitioners. Senior Client Leader Denny Lerch, Client Leader Danyle Hepler, Client Leader Susana Perez and Client Leader Tina Berceli-Boyle bring deep and diverse knowledge across many industries throughout the U.S. and abroad to collaborate with Haley & Aldrich’s clients to reduce their operations risk.

The four new additions also bring expanded air quality expertise to the practice as well as many years of experience in health & safety and industrial hygiene, compliance systems management, and multi-media permitting.

The practice’s innovative approach combines vulnerability assessments with product and supply chain reliability consulting and operational excellence practices to ensure operational resilience.

 Denny Lerch

Denny Lerch, PE, Senior Client Leader, has more than 20 years of experience in environmental permitting and regulatory compliance across a diverse set of industries – from electric utilities to pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers, consumer goods and steel manufacturers. His technical expertise includes air permitting and compliance, EHS program development, environmental compliance auditing, regulatory interpretation and guidance, compliance plan development and agency negotiations. Lerch earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University and is a member of multiple professional organizations.

 Danyle Hepler

Danyle Hepler, Client Leader, has more than 15 years of industrial and consulting experience in managing health & safety compliance, crisis management and environmental programs. She is a delegate to the U.S Technical Advisory Group to support development of the ISO 45001 Standard for Health & Safety Management systems. Hepler earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Resource Management from The Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Safety Professional and Certified Environmental and Safety Compliance Officer.

 Susana Perez

Susana Perez, Client Leader, has 19 years of experience in air quality permitting and compliance across many industries – including construction materials, mining and manufacturing. Her technical expertise is in air permitting, air compliance audits, toxic release inventory reporting, air quality modeling, health risk assessments, and local, regional, state and federal regulatory negotiations. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She is actively involved in many professional organizations, including the California Construction & Industrial Minerals Association, National Sand, Stone, & Gravel Association, and the California Asphalt Pavement Association.

 Tina Berceli-Boyle

Tina Berceli-Boyle, PE, Client Leader, has nearly 25 years of experience in environmental engineering, permitting, and health and safety in many industries – from power generation and chemical processing to biotechnology, electronics/semiconductor manufacturing, and steel manufacturing/finishing. Her technical specialties include environmental permitting, air pollution engineering and pollution prevention, EH&S program development, litigation support, environmental auditing, due diligence, and chemical process engineering. Berceli-Boyle earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
