Shruti Ramaker joins Haley & Aldrich as an Associate

Burlington, MA (September 7, 2016) -- Haley & Aldrich, an engineering and environmental consulting firm, today announced that Shruti Ramaker has joined the firm as an Associate – Environmental Permitting & Planning bringing nearly 20 years of experience managing environmental permitting and preparing documentation related to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Shruti will collaborate with Haley & Aldrich’s growing client base in the Western U.S. Her experience most recently has been with the regulated California utilities market permitting electric and gas infrastructure projects, as well as the permitting of renewable and natural gas fired power generation and battery storage projects. Ramaker has also worked on infrastructure projects for the public sector (roads, bridge and culvert replacements), managing complex mitigation monitoring programs as well as permitting multiple projects in the commercial and residential markets.
Ramaker’s expertise is in land use planning, permitting, community outreach and managing large, multidisciplinary environmental teams. She has successfully obtained resource agency permits for projects within federal, state (California) and local agency jurisdictions. She managed and prepared Proponent's Environmental Assessments (PEAs) for regulated California utilities to be submitted to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and has experience preparing Applications for Certifications for power generation projects to be submitted to the California Energy Commission (CEC).

Ramaker has served as a Board Member for the Channel Counties Chapter of the Association of Environmental Professionals for the past 15 years. She has a B.A. degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
