33rd Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water, and Energy

The 33rd Annual Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water and Energy, hosted by the Association for Environmental Health and Sciences (AEHS) Foundation, will be held at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. The conference attracts 600-800 attendees annually which includes representation from state and federal agencies, military, railroad, petroleum, transportation, utilities, environmental engineering and consulting, and academia.

Haley & Aldrich’s experts will be involved with the following platform sessions:

  • Stephen Clough, Technical Expert, will present “Development of a Passive Lignin Porewater Sampler for Metals” on Oct. 17 at 1:30 p.m.
  • Jacob Chu, Technical Expert, will present “Using Molecular Microbiological Tools to Assess Microbial Community Evolution During In Situ Bioremediation of 1,4-Dioxane and 1,2-DCA with Propane and Oxygen Addition” on Oct. 18 at 9 a.m.
  • Janine Commerford, Technical Expert, will chair the Vapor Intrusion session on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Richard Rago, Technical Expert, co-authored a poster presentation with James Occhialini from Alpha Analytical titled "A Comparison of the New MassDEP VPH by GC/MS Method with the Original VPH Procedure by GC-FID"
