Geotechnical Infrastructure Development
Public works was once the quiet domain of government. Today, the public and business community are fully engaged, recognizing the synergistic relationship that exists between infrastructure investment and economic growth. Haley & Aldrich has been involved in some of the most complex public infrastructure projects in the U.S., from Boston's Central Artery/Tunnel Project to currently active public/private partnership projects in Washington, DC. We have helped to clean up polluted harbors, bays and waterways and protected water supply systems from the impacts of contaminated groundwater.
These kinds of engineering and environmental challenges have necessitated innovations and unconventional applications of existing technologies. More important, these projects have necessitated open-minded approaches to balancing interests, allocating risks among project stakeholders, and identifying opportunities created during and after such dramatic public works achievements.
