San Diego, CA (April 17, 2012) -- Antoine Assioun, QEP, EIT, joins Haley & Aldrich as a Senior Air Quality Compliance Strategist. He joins Haley & Aldrich in our San Diego, CA office to support our expanding air quality permitting and compliance practice and services. Mr. Assioun has over 25 years of air pollution studies, emission controls technology assessment, engineering and management experience.

Mr. Assioun is experienced in many aspects of traditional air quality permitting and compliance services. His educational background and in-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal air quality compliance requirements and implications allow him to work with clients to strategize, plan, and create air quality management plans, while forecasting the relationship of client operations and the overall impact of air quality policies and regulations.

Mr. Assioun focuses on providing his clients with solutions to their environmental air quality urgent and current matters, as well as strategizing and developing compliance programs with future regulations such as compliance offset programs, refrigeration management programs, title V greenhouse gas tailoring rule program, mandatory reporting programs, heavy-duty diesel compliance programs, grants and funding resources management programs, and others. The strategies and policies Mr. Assioun has implemented have resulted in competitive market positioning, decreased costs, maximized productivity, and improved client satisfaction.

Mr. Assioun earned an MSc. In Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aleppo, Syria. He is a Qualified Environmental Professional and an EIT in California. He is active in several professional societies, including San Diego County Air Pollution Control District (Title V Working Group Committee and Permit Process Streamlining Committee), Southern California Rock Products and Ready Mixed Concrete Association (Environmental Committee), and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (Associate Member).
