Abstract:
Haley & Aldrich staff and a senior advisor authored the Urban Land feature article "Winning Battles, but Losing the War." The article is based on research and interviews with leaders of city green building programs, and identifies three policies that would accelerate the pace of green building:
- Make green building and renovation mandatory
- Allocate a greater share of city budgets to green building programs
- Implement a continuous improvement approach to enhance the effectiveness of municipal green building programs
The article reflects that, while we continue to work with thought leaders in the built environment to accelerate the pace of green building, our industry is not as far along as we thought we were.
We encourage you to read the article, and also to read more about how Haley & Aldrich is collaborating with our clients to develop green solutions at haleyaldrich.com/greensolutions
