Dan Oman has more than four decades of environmental management experience and because of that, he understands that his clients’ environmental issues are business issues. As a market segment leader (MSL), he seeks to understand what his clients truly value and adapts his approach and that of his team to meet their needs.
In addition to Dan’s MSL role, he is currently an at-large director on Haley & Aldrich Construction Services’ (HCS) Board of Directors and construction engineering manager for HCS. Dan’s areas of expertise include heavy metals stabilization, disposal facility design, site investigations, remediation design and construction, regulatory liability management, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, expert testimony, risk communications and community relations.
In 2013, Dan received the Childress-Loebler Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Foundry Society (AFS). He is on the Board of Directors for the Foundry Association of Michigan and AFS-FIRST, Inc. He is also the Chair of the Environmental Health & Safety Division within AFS. Dan earned a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware.
