John is passionate about natural resources, environmental planning, and permitting. He is focused upon delivering the best advice to clients, and firmly believes that our clients’ success translates into the success of our business. This philosophy has helped John garner trust and respect from clients who have tasked John with their biological, ecological, restoration, threatened & endangered (T&E) species, and wetlands information needs for over 40 years. Having served clients in a variety of roles – from a field biologist to a regional program director – John is an expert with designing and staffing environmental and natural resource studies and managing complex regional operations.
John’s project experience has encompassed clean energy development, desalination plants, highways, harbors, and airports construction, maintenance dredging, utility corridors, shoreline protection, residential and resort development, military training area development and operations, military asset bed-down, installation mapping and turnkey facilities management, instream flow assessment and habitat restoration, water quality assessment, and stormwater management. He has extensive project experience throughout the Pacific Rim including the western continental U.S., the Hawaiian Islands, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Micronesia, Samoa, and Japan.
