Haley & Aldrich announces Liz Fennessy as new Buildings & Infrastructure General Manager, Brad Aldinger as Institutions Market Segment Leader

Burlington, Mass. (January 22, 2019) -- Haley & Aldrich, an engineering and environmental consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Lizetta (Liz) Fennessy as General Manager for the Buildings & Infrastructure Business Unit and Bradford (Brad) Aldinger as the Education, Healthcare, and Cultural Institutions Market Segment Leader. Aldinger was previously a Senior Project Manager and Senior Geotechnical Engineer for Haley & Aldrich and steps into the role previously held by Fennessy.

Lizetta Fennessy, P.E.: Buildings & Infrastructure General Manager

Fennessy has more than 20 years of experience working in the built environment. As the Education, Healthcare, and Cultural Institutions Market Segment Leader, Liz leveraged her technical expertise and market knowledge to help our clients address their complex real estate and facilities challenges. As General Manager, Fennessy will lead the strategic direction of our developers, education and healthcare, and infrastructure markets. She will work to deeply understand Haley & Aldrich’s real estate and infrastructure clients’ business goals and focus on systems thinking and strategic planning to create the greatest value for them.

Fennessy replaces Joel Mooney as the Buildings & Infrastructure General Manager. Mooney will apply his more than 35 years of experience and leadership skills as a Principal Consultant, where he will mentor and coach staff, continue to engage in client work, and lead special projects.

“Joel’s contributions as General Manager for the past 10 years have been a tremendous asset for Haley & Aldrich and our clients,” Guay said. “They will both continue to greatly benefit in the coming years from his focused mentorship and leadership.”  

Bradford Aldinger, P.E.: Education, Healthcare, and Cultural Institutions Market Segment Leader

Aldinger has 20 years of experience providing practical and collaborative solutions to solve clients’ most complex underground challenges. Throughout his career, Brad has provided geotechnical and environmental engineering support, including early-stage planning and project design through construction, to higher education, developer, infrastructure, and energy clients.  He has also spent nearly 10 years mentoring clients and Haley & Aldrich staff in Lean thinking – applying principles and tools such as A3 thinking, defining value in the eye of the customer, and Value Stream Mapping to deiver projects under budget and ahead of schedule.

In his new role, Aldinger will work with the company’s staff to identify the right mix of technical expertise and market knowledge to approach problems from our institutional clients’ perspectives, finding new ways to help them achieve value as their needs evolve.
