Liz has more than 20 years of experience working in the built environment. She seeks to deeply understand Haley & Aldrich’s real estate and infrastructure clients’ business goals, and focuses on systems thinking and strategic planning to create the greatest value for them. Liz leads the strategic direction and has operational responsibility for the staff and projects in the company’s Buildings & Infrastructure Business Unit, which includes clients in the developers, healthcare, infrastructure, and higher education markets.
Liz’s technical background in geotechnical engineering and experience in project management and property development is invaluable to our clients as they address complex real estate and facilities challenges in the midst of uncertain market conditions. A champion of Lean practices, Liz seeks to understand her clients’ needs and then help them craft the most efficient means to achieve the solution.
Liz is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and an active member of the Society for College and University Planning, APPA, and CREW Boston. She received both her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 2020, Liz received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Massachusetts Amherst College of Engineering for exceptional levels of professional and personal achievement in engineering.
