Bradford Aldinger

Brad Aldinger has 20 years of experience in the built environment, providing practical, whole-system, and collaborative solutions to solve Haley & Aldrich’s clients’ most complex underground challenges. Brad works with the company’s staff to identify the right mix of technical expertise and market knowledge so Haley & Aldrich’s teams can approach problems from our institutional clients’ perspectives and find new ways for them to achieve value as their needs evolve.

Throughout his career, Brad has provided geotechnical and environmental engineering services, including early-stage planning, project design, and construction administration to higher education, developer, infrastructure, and energy clients. He has also spent nearly ten years mentoring clients and Haley & Aldrich staff in Lean thinking – applying principles and tools such as A3 thinking, defining value in the eye of the customer, and Value Stream Mapping to deliver projects under budget and ahead of schedule.

Brad is a licensed Professional Engineer in Connecticut and Massachusetts, an active member of the Society of College and University Planners (SCUP), and the Vice-Leader of the Lean Construction Institute’s Southern New England Community of Practice. He has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in civil engineering and a Master of Science in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Our institutions clients are struggling to adapt to do more with less in the headwinds of ever-increasing rates of change that impact the way they serve their students and patients. We have learned that the more we listen to our clients and understand their challenges and perspectives, the better we can help bridge the gap between where our clients are and where they want to be.
