Todd Parkington brings 25 years of geotechnical engineering experience to Haley & Aldrich

Burlington, Mass., May 4, 2020 – Haley & Aldrich, an engineering and environmental consulting company, today announced that Todd Parkington, P.E., has joined the firm’s Denver office as a Technical Expert. Parkington has over 25 years of geotechnical engineering experience, including in slope stability, foundation design, geotechnical analytics, geomechanics, tailings and retaining walls to mining, industrial, development, and transportation projects.

“Todd is not only bringing the highest level of technical excellence to Haley & Aldrich and our clients, but an ability to develop relationships and identify the right solution specific to a client’s needs,” said Shawn Fiore, General Manager, Energy & Mining Business Unit. “He’ll be a tremendous asset for our clients.”

Prior to Haley & Aldrich, Parkington has held roles as an Engineer and Project Manager on real estate development, earth-fill embankment dam, open pit wall, and bridge and road projects. He has extensive experience providing geotechnical design, construction quality assurance, seismic stability, permitting, and construction monitoring services for tailings dam projects. He has worked on projects in California, Alaska, Arizona, New Mexico, and the Pacific Northwest.

Parkington is a registered Professional Engineer in Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. He received a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Washington.
