Lyssa Reed, a collaborative and resourceful geotechnical engineer, draws inspiration from projects that directly impact the world we live in-roads, schools, housing, and places for people to work and play. To guide those projects toward success, Lyssa prioritizes active listening, open communication, and early engagement. She constantly keeps clients’ priorities in focus while managing risks and preparing for the unexpected.
Lyssa’s project experience spans major infrastructure, building, and development projects, and she specializes in subsurface investigations, foundation design, and construction oversight. Lyssa enjoys helping her clients understand the many factors associated with geotechnical design — including subsurface conditions, abutting properties and infrastructure, constructability, and permitting and code requirements — that impact the foundation design and drive the results she achieves.
