We approach our work with care — for the environment and the communities in which we and our clients work. We look for every opportunity to have a positive impact on the environment. But we also recognize a sustainable human ecosystem requires more than a clean environment — and we take that to heart.
We established our Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee, comprised of Haley & Aldrich board of director members, executive management, and staff from across the firm, to do our part to create a sustainable future. Our ESG Committee aligns their efforts with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, a global sustainability blueprint for humankind and the planet.
A few of our committee’s efforts:
- Integrate ESG principles to create innovative project solutions aligned with Haley & Aldrich’s — and our clients’ — sustainability goals, ultimately increasing the value Haley & Aldrich provides to our clients, the industry, and the larger community.
- Create an organization that fosters a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equality through our Workplace Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
- Conduct as much of the company’s work virtually as possible, utilizing office space when necessary to deliver exceptional value to our clients, or to develop our staff.
- Reduce the carbon footprint and overall environmental impact of our operations by reducing resource-intensive travel associated with staff and business partner commuting, sales and business development, client service, and community engagement.
Our goal for environmentally responsible, socially sound practices is simple: for Haley & Aldrich’s future staff to look back at our history and appreciate the contributions their predecessors made to create a more prosperous and peaceful future.
