Becky serves as an engineer and project manager on environmental remediation projects. She has performed environmental investigations, feasibility studies, and remediation, with a focus on sediment and upland soil projects that have complex regulatory and client requirements. Becky brings a facility working with a wide range of personalities and translating between engineers and nontechnical audiences — qualities that have built strong relationships with local and state agencies in California’s Bay Area, where she is based.
A highlight of Becky’s experience is managing a sediment dredging and capping remediation project offshore from a former manufactured gas plant, with multiple phases of investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial planning and diverse regulatory and public stakeholders. The project also involves renovating and rebuilding a marina and renovating adjacent greenspace. This work exemplifies the kinds of projects that Becky thrives on, where she can manage many complexities and work to create long-term benefits for clients and local communities.
“I enjoy solving complex problems and improving project areas so that they can be more fully enjoyed by people and wildlife.”
