In his years as a geotechnical engineer, Jeff Bruce has worked on everything from sinkholes to bridges to tsunami berms. Jeff primarily manages roadway transportation and waterfront projects for clients that include the Washington State DOT and the U.S. Navy. Jeff has a particular technical passion for deep foundation design, especially with full-scale field load tests.
Jeff draws motivation from imagining a final product he can be proud of, but working with great teams along the way is what he enjoys most about his work. He takes pride in his communication skills, and clients value the care he takes to explain things in jargon-free, audience-appropriate ways.
Outside of geotechnical engineering, Jeff enjoys the ice sport curling, playing the clarinet in a local community orchestra, and helping giant dog breeds.
