With more than 20 years of academic and industry experience in geology, geophysics, and environmental science, Jesse helps clients address critical issues related to environmental contamination and groundwater stewardship. Finding effective, creative solutions keeps him inspired, and he draws on his experience as a research geologist for the U.S. Geological Survey, a consulting hydrogeologist, an exploration geologist and operations manager in the oil and gas industry, and a geophysicist for Stanford University.
Jesse has worked in public settings dealing with a broad range of landowners and stakeholders. He also has deep experience in leading both large- and small-scale subsurface investigations; managing employee resources, contractors, and consultants; and performing groundwater management, including for CERCLA sites, and ensuring compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.
“The combination of scientific, engineering, legal and regulatory, and social hurdles that present themselves in many of these projects provides opportunities for innovation, creativity, education, and collaboration. Bringing together the right tools, technologies, and people to meet clients’ challenges is exciting and engaging.”
