Khashayar serves as a technical lead on geotechnical projects, overseeing shallow and deep foundation design, slope stability, and stabilization analyses, ground improvement, and other work. His experience spans tall buildings, bridge foundations, pipelines, deep excavations, and other critical infrastructure. Khashayar approaches each project with a willingness to learn and challenge himself, a mindset he also imparts while coaching more junior staff in the field and the office.
Khashayar also brings a collaborative spirit to every project. He refines a shared understanding of clients’ goals and challenges with strong listening skills and open discussions, returning to that shared understanding throughout a project to keep all team members aligned. He also draws insights from working across different geologies and regulatory environments in New York and California, which gives him a strong sense of the challenges that might arise in a project.
