Mark’s passion for engineering stemmed from his upbringing. He grew up at Haley & Aldrich as his dad and company co-founder, Jim Haley, had him working on a variety of tasks, from hand-coloring soil profiles to cleaning the office floors. He has since built a career with over 45 years of geotechnical engineering experience focused on waterfront, deep excavation, real estate development, transportation, and institutional projects. He is driven to perform at the highest-level and will take on almost any underground engineering challenge. The variability of challenges on each project keeps him motivated.
Mark is inspired by collaborating with staff members, the construction community, and clients to tackle the toughest engineering and construction challenges. Inside our company, Mark is known for his commitment to developing staff – mentoring the next generation of leaders to provide exceptional value to our clients.
