Peter aims to provide sound environmental decisions and management that are compatible with sustainable and regional planning, adaptive implementation, and resiliency planning, especially in the context of watersheds and coastal areas. He leads high-value, complex cleanup efforts, drawing on diversified technical expertise, keen risk and decision analysis, and action-oriented sustainability-based strategies. Peter also prioritizes building the strategic partnerships needed to reach clients’ goals, balancing business acumen with the interests of communities and federal, state, and local organizations.

When leading teams, Peter fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and sustainability. As part of his continued quest to drive more efficient, sustainable ways of working, Peter pioneered the use of advanced conceptual site models to guide management reviews and the acceptance of innovative cleanup approaches. He also developed a comprehensive approach to project management that supports the holistic, integrated delivery of project-specific outcomes for the benefit of clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
