Dawn partners with clients to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, including sustainability, climate resilience, and environmental justice, into their business strategies. Companies across sectors rely on her help to mitigate risks and adapt to a changing climate so that they can deliver exceptional value to their customers and shareholders.
Dawn brings a perspective shaped by more than 30 years of experience in the environmental field. Before joining Haley & Aldrich, she led environmental and energy policy strategy for one of the largest utility companies in the United States.
Leveraging her engineering background and extensive public relations experience, Dawn has helped organizations navigate a changing environmental policy and regulatory landscape while building constructive relationships with their customers, policymakers, and stakeholders. Dawn’s diverse project portfolio includes materiality assessments, environmental and social due diligence, coal ash management, electric generation, transmission and distribution, environmental regulations, and climate risk assessments.
“I’ve seen the many different angles and competing interests our clients encounter when dealing with ESG issues and have worked with them to navigate investor demands, regulatory changes, stakeholder interventions, and market pressures. My approach is to find common ground among the diverse viewpoints and develop strategies so our clients are prepared and resilient, no matter what situations they may face.”
