Key takeaways:

  • Haley & Aldrich experts will present on PFAS assessment and treatment, MGP sediment risk assessment, ground-source heat exchange, and more at the International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water, and Energy.
  • Their presentations have relevance to clients with environmental liabilities, particularly in the industrial and manufacturing and government markets.

Amherst, Mass., Oct. 15, 2026 — Four Haley & Aldrich experts will present on the assessment and treatment of chemicals known collectively as PFAS, risk assessment of manufactured gas plant (MGP) coal tar-contaminated sediment, navigating the complexities of ground-source heat exchange, and more at the International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water, and Energy hosted by the Association for Environmental Health and Sciences Foundation (AEHS). The conference will take place Oct. 19-22 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

These Haley & Aldrich professionals will join thousands of other attendees for sessions related to soil and sediment remediation, groundwater, brownfields, emerging contaminants, and other pressing topics for environmental consultants and the clients they serve.

According to AEHS, this event is the longest-running annual environmental conference in the United States. It aims to connect scientists, engineers, policymakers, and industry leaders in order to advance environmental management and public health.
