A June 2025 New Jersey Business Magazine article highlights Haley & Aldrich’s work to address PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) through technological innovation.
The article, “Cleaning Land, Water and Air With New Technologies,” summarizes developments related to environmental engineering in New Jersey. It features Haley & Aldrich’s proprietary EradiFluor technology, which has successfully destroyed PFAS in field testing, unlike many other treatment methods that simply concentrate PFAS for later disposal. Haley & Aldrich, the article notes, has completed more than 300 remediation projects, among them many Superfund sites, in New Jersey.
Mark Fisher, a New Jersey–based consultant with Haley & Aldrich, was interviewed for the article. He emphasizes the importance of EradiFluor and other innovative approaches for tackling current environmental issues like PFAS. He also notes the importance of ongoing workforce training, strong STEM education, and mentorship to address industrywide challenges such as retiring professionals and ever-evolving regulatory requirements.
