ACEC selects Haley & Aldrich’s Dr. Janice Marsters to serve as a national executive committee vice chair

Honolulu, Hawaii, Dec. 21, 2021 – Haley & Aldrich is pleased to announce that Janice Marsters, Ph.D., P.E., FACEC, has been selected to serve as one of six national vice chairs on the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) 2022-2024 Executive Committee.

ACEC serves as a voice of the engineering industry, representing more than 600,000 consulting design professionals across the country. ACEC’s primary mission is to strengthen the business environment for their member firms through government advocacy, political action, and business education.

“Janice’s tireless support of and commitment to ACEC at the state and national level over the past 25 years may be unmatched,” said David Winter, General Manager for Hart Crowser, a division of Haley & Aldrich. Marsters has served ACEC-Hawai‘i in a variety of roles including Board Member, President, and two 2-year terms as Hawai‘i’s National Director on the ACEC Board of Directors. She led ACEC Hawai‘i’s legislative advocacy activities for many years. She is an ACEC Fellow who has served on ACEC’s national Risk Management Committee for many years, including 3 years as Chair.”

Marsters is the Managing Senior Principal of Haley & Aldrich’s Hawai‘i/Pacific operations. Starting with our first Hawai‘i office in Honolulu 6 years ago, she has steadily grown our multi-disciplinary practice to now include offices in Maui and Guam. Janice has authored numerous papers and frequently speaks on technical and risk management topics. She is active in other professional organizations and is the current Chair of the Industry Advisory Committee of the University of Hawai‘i College of Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
